Good time to buy a bow!
« on: February 04, 2010, 08:23:28 AM »
I was browsing around on ArcheryTalk and ebay yesterday and there are some screaming deals on new 2009 bows.  A guy could save hundreds.  I did that a year ago with a 2008 Bowtech and got it for about half price.  I'm tempted to do it again!  :chuckle:

I also saw that cabelas has a few on sale also, contemplating a new bow also, but which one to get??
To hunt and butcher an animal is to recognize that meat is not some abstract form of protein that springs into existence tightly wrapped in cellophane and styrofoam.

I did that very thing last month.  I got a 2009 Alpine Ventura Target for $350, and they're like $750 new.  It was too short on the draw length, so I took it to Alpine, and they hooked me up with everything I needed.
Bring a GPS!  It's awkward to have to eat your buddies!

XXX had 08 Gardians at 499 no tax last year. XXX is definately worth checking out. And was well worth the drive from Port Orchard to Longview for me.

Im sure they have something closing out this year.

I also have never had as great of service. Cory set up the bow with a Armotech and a QAD Ultra and basically taught me how to shoot while Dustin made my arrows. It was a great experience and I will definately go back over the years to upgrade.
