The Wife's New Rifle.
« on: February 06, 2010, 08:09:42 PM »
We got back from Cabellas this evening and I had to rearrange my gun cabinet again.  :IBCOOL: My wife told me that she wants to go deer hunting this year.  We walked away from the store with a brand new Marlin XL7 youth model with the Cabellas Pine Ridge 3-9x40.  I am a lucky man!!  When we got home my wife got this little smirk on her face and said "I like my new gun".  Cant wait to take her shooting and see how it well works.
There's a reason they call it hunting, not killing.

Very cool, what caliber??
By my honorable conduct as a hunter let me give a good example and teach new hunters principles of honor, so that each new generation can show respect for their god, other hunters and the animals, and enjoy the dignity of the hunt.

Calling an illegal alien an 'undocumented immigrant' is like calling a drug dealer an 'unlicensed pharmacist'.

Sorry I had to leave the computer for a bit and just knew somebody would ask that.  We got her a .243.  The whole set up, everything was on sale except for the scope rings and the total was just shy of $360.  The guys behind the counter were very helpfull.  But man does it get crowded in there.
