Rayonier Leases
« on: February 12, 2010, 10:28:43 PM »
Has anyone leased land from Rayonier?   Is the hunting any good there?  I've never been out there to hunt.

Is anyone interested in teaming up?  Seems like a pretty good deal if you want to manage for a good hunt.

I was under the impression that you don't need a permit for hunting on greendot rayonier land.  I've hunted outside of ocean shores on such land and never ran into any issues.  Lots of does, a few bucks.

I'd be surprised if you did any better on their leases than on their open to public land.  I don't think the quality of hunt changes much between private and public land unless there is a huge block of private.

Rayonier has posted some of their lands as "no trespassing". People can lease land from Rayonier for their hunting needs and they are the only ones allowed on the land. However there is still a lot of green dot Rayonier land available for anyone to hunt
