Destroyer 340 or 350???
« on: February 26, 2010, 07:07:51 AM »
What are the benefits of one vs. the other.  I saw the 340 is a 7" brace height and the 350 is a 6" brace height.  The 350 is a faster bow.  Which bow would one choose if they narrowed the selection down to the Bowtech Destroyer???

Depends if your a speed guy, from what little I know about bows the larger brace height is going to be a little more forgiving. Which if I understand correctly will help you be more accurate.

Would go with nothing less than a 7" brace heighth.  If speed is what your after dont buy either, hook up with wapitihunter and have him show you some speed bows. :chuckle:

I went recently with the 350 just because it was a little faster and I didn't notice any difference going from a 7" to a 6" brace.  BTW, I'm a 28" draw.  Now, keep in mind that I haven't shot it past 60 yrds, yet.  Haha, maybe I'll be wishin' for that 7" brace, again.  Anyway, for me speed was a priority because I went to a single pin sight and wanted to minimize my arrow drop as much as possible.
