Should be noted that the Washington State record for typical elk scores 420 4/8 B&C net, is a 7x7 and was killed by Charlie Gunnier in Yakima county (on the reservation) in 1990. The bull ranks #7 all-time typical. The Washington State record for Roosevelt elk scores 380 6/8 B&C net, is an 8x8 and was killed by Sam Argo in Jefferson county in 1983. The bull ranks #4 all-time Roosevelt.
