Based in Northeast Washington it was founded in 2009 by Mike Smith. He thought of designing a brand of clothing for the hunter that is seriously "Addicted to the Hunt" as he is.
Designs by Backwoods Graphics are influenced by Mikes passion for hunting and living the outdoor lifestyle, 365 days a year.
Although a very new company, Huntaholics Outdoors has gained some attention all over the country for its "dare to be different" attitude. With the "human skull and giant mule deer rack" logo as just the start of that different attitude.

The innovative designs have proven Huntaholics Outdoors to be popular with the addicted hunters all over the country.

So what is a Huntaholic?Huntaholics are those suffering from the disease commonly known as huntsim.
Huntism is a term with multiple and sometimes conflicting definitions. In common and historic usage, Huntism refers to any condition that result in the continued sport of hunting, despite health problems and negative social consequences.
Modern medical definitions describe Huntism as a disease and addiction which results in persistent hunting despite negative consequences.
Although not all of these definitions specify current and on-going hunting as a qualifier for Huntism, some do, as well as remarking on the long-term effects of consistent, heavy hunting, include dependence and symptoms of withdrawal.
While the practice of hunting is, by definition, necessary to develop Huntism, hunting does not predict the development of Huntism. The quantity, frequency and regularity of hunting required to develop Huntism varies greatly from person to person. In addition, although the biological mechanisms underpinning Huntism are uncertain, some risk factors, including social environment, stress, emotional health, genetic predisposition, age, and gender have been identified.

For example, those who Hunt at an early age, by age 10 or younger, are at a higher risk of Huntism dependence or abuse. Also, studies indicate that the proportion of men with Huntism dependence is higher than the proportion of women, 7% and 2.5% respectively, although women are more vulnerable to long-term consequences of Huntism. Around 45% of adults in United States hunt and more than 700,000 of them are treated daily for Huntism.
