Another good day out in the woods
« on: March 06, 2010, 06:00:37 PM »
Went hunting today with a friend, and had a blast.  Saw a bunch of mule deer, that didnt notice us for quite some time.  Went off to my secret squirrel spot that is only accessible by rope as you can see.  This area has been producive in the past but today only saw deer after deer.  Wish it was deer season :bash: :bash:  On the way back up came across some fresh scat, I belive it to be elk or moose.  To big for deer, and as you can tell from the photo, it was quite fresh.

any day in the woods is better than a day at work :P

Thanks for the info, there was only one set of tracks and I thought elk were a herding animal, while moose were solitare.  THey were some big tracks.
