2008 bear
« on: March 17, 2010, 09:03:51 PM »
After passing my hunters safety class I was determind to shoot a bear.Every free minute I had was spent in the woods.through august and September all i found was sign but i was having fun hiking in the woods.Mid October I spotted two bears about a mile apart but they both busted me,but the third wouldn't be so lucky.Sitting on a stump overlooking a large clearcut i spotted the bear working its way out of the timber  350 yards away. The wind was blowing hard in my face so I slowly walked down the logging road and got to about 50 yards but the bear was gone. After a few minutes it walked out from behind a small hill and i took a freehand shot dropping the bear dead mid step.

Nice bear!
Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.  That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.
