Nice find!!! I spent 3/4 of the day out in tropping the Fort Lewis for Blacktail sheds with my two boys and my girlfriends two boys. The only thing we managed to find was a Racoon skull and a few large mud puddles to soad the kids in the back of my truck...  :IBCOOL:

I'd be lazer-focused on finding that buck this fall.  He's got great mass and will likely go a little nuts on that right side this year.  Cool find!

Are those this years or have they been down since last year? Look a little green on the base already?

There not fresh.I found the set laying within a couple inches of eachother and they left a perfect imprint in the ground. The side that was in the ground stayed fresh looking. This area is very brushy and hilly which would make hunting it tricky. The trees are about 5-6 feet tall with a small grassy area.Theres only one way in without crashing through brush and the visibility from this side is poor.I'm thinking about cutting my own trial to a high vantage point. How would some of you experienced deer hunters go about this?Ive only shot one deer and am just starting to learn. Here's a picture of the sheds and deer I shot about half a mile away last year.

Lots of character! Very cool find!
I am not opposed to golf, for I suspect it keeps armies of the unworthy from discovering deer.
