I hunted the monroe unit last year for spring bear, you guys will have a blast. Just a friendly warning, some kids tried to break into my rig while I was hunting behind a locked gate there last year there, so just keep you valuables with ya, if possible. They were on motor bikes.

Good luck guys/gals!

Well I know that in a couple areas of the unit you are right. It has been a long time problem here. My dad was back in gold panning an they broke out 2 of his windows (like one wasn't enough to get in) rummaged around his car an found nothing. It sucked because at the time he was on disability an had no money to fix them. I catch them in the area he was and oops sorry my fist slipped!!!!!! :chuckle: But it is a good reminder to all, as spring an summer warm up beaware.. The meth heads will be out in force....

No tag needed IMHO.... :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle: My buddy who lives just a couple miles away caught one peering through the windows of their rigs. He said they ran pretty damn fast when they heard the hammer click back LMAO!!!

6 times I want to call "BS" on that one. Sounds like a stretching of the truth.

I can't find any info on the area boundaries? :dunno:  The regs say that area of gmu448 that is deemed necessary, or something like that. I hope we get a packet with a map or something! Did you guy's/gal's who got drawn before get something?
Snowman, a while back you posted a pic of a huge track in the area. Have you seen anymore? Or better yet, the beast that left it? You don't have to post the answer, just pm me with the GPS coordinates! :chuckle:
I'll be calling you soon.   Good luck to all      Mark

I got my packet in the mail today with no map.  you can get keys for 100$ from DNR then at the end of the season or when you return the key you get your 100$ back.  Green crow  will grant access to hunters on an individual basis.
