Looks like bear to me.  Not elk.  Maybe Sasquatch?  :chuckle:
By my honorable conduct as a hunter let me give a good example and teach new hunters principles of honor, so that each new generation can show respect for their god, other hunters and the animals, and enjoy the dignity of the hunt.

Calling an illegal alien an 'undocumented immigrant' is like calling a drug dealer an 'unlicensed pharmacist'.

Looks like different sized piles. Might be two different bears. Possible a sow and cub.

I found a similar spot last spring with many piles of different sizes.

Whenever there is a doubt on bear or elk...look for tracks. Elk won't leave bear crap! :chuckle:

I have been posting on different sites and the vote is 60% for bear and 40% for elk out of all responses....
weird thing is on the "bear" site they say elk......
Although it has come to my attention that a lot of recognition goes to BTKR as "knowing his stuff" and he passes that along to those that responded on this site....
 :dunno:
As far as looking for tracks...as I stated before, there is no way that anything would leave any tracks where these were found.......
When I go up to check my camera today, I will look and see if that is hair, but I think it is just grass......

besides the spring bear hunters and turkey hunting, the other thing that happens on this site every year this time is the multiple pictures of poop.
I love it. I think we had a whole thread last year dedicated to piles of poo. I'll have to look it up.
