Saw me a Bear today!!!

I was heading in to work today on Fort Lewis when I had a bear run across the road in front of me. I could see him from about a 150 yards away. I got to within 20 yards of him with my truck before he got out of the middle of the road and then he stood at 15 feet from me for about 30 seconds before he took off. I really wish I had my camera. He was about 150 lbs with his fur between black and brown phases. I know where there are a couple other bears on base just can't wait till August 1st.. I'm getting impatient....

he was prolly waiting for you to give him a piece of you lunch  pretty cool though i hardly ever get to see bears
