Caught some, even though WDFW is making it hard....
« on: May 05, 2010, 11:38:43 PM »
Let's see, 7 days of shrimping, fishing less than 120 feet, 10 inch slot limit for lings, no rockfish allowed....   :bash:

These people will close themselves right out of their jobs pretty soon.

Still, my boy and I managed a good afternoon.  What better reason to play hookie but to go fishin with your dad?  We got a limit of shrimp and caught two lings, 13 and 15 pounds, just short of the max size of 36 inches.  He managed to get his about halfway up after a good run on the drag and had to pass the rod off.  Nice day on the water to boot!

Wow, great job! You live in a great spot to be able to go out and fill the sink like that! I am very jealous.... Congrats!

Nice. Keep up the good work. Looks like some tasty dinner at your house tonight

Nice Job Dad! Those shrimp are definately fun to go for but Man, the arms really hurt if you don't have a pot puller. I remember going after them at Hood Canal, we used to use "Puss n Boots" cat food, for some reason that stuff works great
