Traded my .300 WBY MKV stainless to my best friend after I bought my Sako TRGS 7.82 Warbird. My Warbird shoots GREAT, but so did that WBY. It was the very best, most accurate weapon that I have ever owned. My friend and me almost always hunt together whenever either one of us hunts and it just kills me to have to look at that WBY in someone elses hands. I will NEVER trade a weapon again. NEVER!!! My wife shoots the exact same model WBY only it's chambered in .270 WBY mag. My friend never let's a chance go bye to try and "horse trade" me out of that .270. He just don't understand that it is NEVER going to happen.

Had bought a 70's vintage model Ruger 7mm from my Gramps for 100.00 .I could drive tacks with and it had the heavier barrel.Killin machine but it would kick my ass so bad.I was hurting for cash later and it really didnt have much sentimental value to it so I sold it.I kind of miss it now.Hard to find accuracy like that.

I gave my brother my Mini-14 and a really nice Makarov pistol chambered in .380 as well as a .44Mag Ruger Super Blackhawk, a Ruger 10/22 and a High Point .380.  I really just miss the first two.

tonto I made a similar stupid trade.

I had a 257 WTBY that had a few rounds through it. I should have rebarreled it, but instead traded for a walker female that was supposed to be a good dog, she ended up being totally worthless.  :chuckle:   :bash:

Two carry S&W revolvers

2.5" Model 66
2" Model 60

(But, gave me room to replace them with a M13 3" .357 "FBI Gun" and 2" M642 hammerless aluminum .38   ;))

My first shotgun - 870 Wingmaster.  It was an old one that only held 2 3/4 inch shells and I sold it to buy my next shotgun when I was in college (bought a S&W 1100, sold that to buy a Beretta, sold that to buy a Benelli but only really regret that 870.)

I sold a Spielding catalog bolt action 12-gauge for $50 in 1983. Polychoke, 2 shell mag, incredibly accurate to 50 yds.

ive traded and sold many many guns and really dont regret most of them. they were normally traded or sold to up grade or replaced as soon as the funds allowed. I did sell off a t/c renagade to fund builing a varmit rifle and I think it would have made an excellent elf rifle. I also sold a taurus .44 special w/ a 3" barrel and adj. sites that I kinda miss. Some of my biggest regrets are good deals that I passed over the years.
