We need a sticky "Map" thread.

REI has a computer setup where you can center the topos wherever you want.  Even show GMU boundaries if you want.  They then print on waterproof/tearproof material.  They're about $10 apiece but I have found them very handy.
Look man, some times you just gotta roll the dice

I went to the forest service and they told me they have district maps that are more detailed than the regular forest service map.

Has anyone ever stopped by the wdfw office in Olympia to see what maps they carry?

I get mine from the private land owner(i.e a forest managment company) all the land I hunt belongs to them. The maps have everything I need.  They do a real good job mapping their land.

The WDFW doesn't stock maps for hunters. Except for possibly the "Green Dot" maps. I don't know if you can get them in Olympia, but you can get them at the regional offices. I picked up one for the LT Murray Wildlife Area at the WDFW office in Ellensburg last year. They are free.
