Young bull moose
« on: May 17, 2010, 02:16:15 PM »
Here is a little bull that is hanging around the hunting cabin. It will be interesting to watch his antlers grow.

Nice one.  Are you expecting to see a moose with this camera set up?  Sure does change how you set up your trail camera.  Nice work!  :)

Yes on the expecting moose with this setup. This is a small seep spring with a small pool of water. The moose are attracted to it along with other wildlife as the weather becomes drier.

Nice find Ed.... If you have time and want to track a very large bull in your area let me know and I will tell you where he likes to hang.  But of course it would be a hush hush location.

Thanks for the offer on tracking the bull. However I'm afraid I don't stray too far from my hunting cabin any more.

boneaddict,
A few mosquitos around that camera but not too bad. Does not seem to bother the moose.

Great pic, that may not be such a small bull with a couple more months of horn growth. Both ear's have splits in them, not sure he's a young one.
I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you.
If I ageed with you, then we'd both be wrong.
You are never to old to learn something stupid.
