Thats what everyone talks about, but I contend that a good basket buck with mass is jsut as exciting. Here is a young buck with some beef to his bones.

My buck last year wasnt a wide one, but I was stoked with him. I kind of like them close and tall like that.

Two years ago in Wyoming we saw a buck skylined on a ridge and his antlers almost came back together at the top, maybe within 2 inches or so. He was super tall and heavy, i'd just never seen one with antlers that came back together like that.

I saw a super heavy 2-point (yes, 2-point) the day before the MT season opened about 5 years ago that I looked and looked for during the seaon and could not find. Had maybe a 12'-ish inside spread but super mass and very tall. One of the oddest racks I have ever seen. I really wanted to shoot that deer bad.

When I first seen the title of this topic, I thought it was about my Ex-Wife.

Thats a dandy Doug, very nice, love those dark horns as well. My brother has a buck that is mounted a lot like that from MT, he's right at 19" and a 4x4 with eye guards. Heavy horns and deep forks, real high like that buck. Very cool.
If it woulda been about my ex-wife the title would have been "low and wide".

I saw a buck in Murderers creek back in 07 that was a super tall 3 on the right side and had 3 or 4 long spikes on the left. Didnt stand still long enough for a 4 blade muzzy
That is a good young buck Bone.
