Large bear mount on display
« on: June 01, 2010, 08:11:31 PM »
The person who shot the 500 lb+ bear last year had it full body mounted and it is currently displayed in Wholesale Sports in Silverdale, Wa.  It is back by the firearm section.  If you are in the area, stop by and have a look.
My impressions: I thought a 500lb bear would be wider than it was, but it is very long(tall) from tail to snout.  The claws look bigger than my fingers!
I think the taxidermist did a very good job.
