Quote
Hikers on Mount Jefferson this summer are about to get a treat.

The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife and Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs are about to move 30 to 40 Rocky Mountain goats from their home in the Elkhorn Mountains onto the slopes of Oregon's second-tallest peak.

Quote
Ultimately, Heath acknowledged, the goats could become established enough to open tightly controlled hunting in the Cascades to augment the current hunts in northeastern Oregon.
Improving public land for the benefit of citizens, wildlife and the environment.

:yike:   Are goats native there? What if they destroy the vegetation like they did in the Olympics.

well then we can transplant wolves into the area! Because the wolves will help control their population! Wolves prey on the weak and injured animals from the herd, biologists tell us that all prey species for wolves are better off because only the strong healthy animals survive and reproduce!!!
:peep:

Sorry I've been reading through the environmentalist websites, its brain washing propaganda. Less data more emotion. Think with your heart not your brain, this is the path. Funniest part of all....the wording used is very similar in format to that found throughout the WDFW draft wolf plan. Hmmmmmmm  :nono:

I wonder if we could sue the WDFW and force them into some sort of goat reintroduction program...
THE WASHINGTON DEPARTMENT OF FISH AND WILDLIFE SUCKS MORE THAN EVER..........
