looking for a new pump shotgun
« on: June 03, 2010, 07:52:46 PM »
I am planning on getting a new pump shotgun for ducks and geese. What does everyone recommend? I am looking into the Benelli Nova. Any other opinions?

I have 2 Browning BPS Stalkers. 3 1/2" 12 ga and a 10 ga. They are nice with the bottom eject, shoot right or left hand and don't throw shells at your hunting partners in the blind.

A 870 is a good gun for the money.  I would stay away from the new pump gun from Remington.   I have heard some bad things about them.

870 or the nova.

i love the heck out of my nova. i've seen many other guns quit working  next to it in the blind.

It sounds like it's time to get a new gun.

side eject is a lot more fun, look what tom knapp does with his nova, about 50 second into the video.
