Baker Lake Trout Fishing
« on: June 11, 2010, 02:47:03 PM »
Spent Memorial Weekend at Baker Lake. It rained almost the entire time but the trout just kept biting. Caught my limit each day of rainbows.

I used a Cabela's Classic 6 1/2 foot rod with a Shimano 8 bearing reel, and Hot Shot lures in silver.

Those game hens are making my mouth water :EAT:

I fished Baker in the rain once with the family.  We stayed huddled under the canopy most of the day, running the heater.  The views of the fog banks blowing through were cool.  Boat ramp's pretty steep, as I remember, and the water was low that year.  Any silvers?
