Winter Steel

Just figuring out how to post pics.  Hopefully this works.  Here's a steelie I caught in late January on the Skagit.  Was a brutal day...snowed six inches while we were on the water.  But our efforts were rewarded with this nice native hen.  She was a chunky 33", 13-14 lbs.

Beauty!!  Looks like a fun day.  ;)

Hit the Sky all day today....landed one Native....mid teens and that was it.  Beautiful fish....sure wish we could keep em' every now and then.

slyr - I bet today was a great day weatherwise to be on the water.  I sat at my desk from 8a - 7p just looking out at the sunshine...not quite the same.  Did you get a pic of your fish?  I hear they're catching some toads on the Sky this year.

There are plenty of fish out there to be whacked.  I;d be stoked i caught one before they are all gone. :dunno:
