" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media. Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield

I was thinking the same thing, tons of length on that nanny.  Cool photo series, thanks for sharing.
I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you.
If I ageed with you, then we'd both be wrong.
You are never to old to learn something stupid.

I think the width puts her over the top.  I've seen billys like her except with more mass in that area.

Id bet anything that the huge decline of goats in Washington is due to the current predator paradise we all live in...Thanks game department. :ass:

First of all awesome photos!  That is absoultely incredible!

I don't know about the state as a whole, but I can tell you for sure that the Mt. Baker mountain goat herds is having no trouble growing despite the predators.  At least for once, WDFW is issuing more tags in response.

As for the Nanny, she might be pushing book.  I saw two nannies last year that I think were pushing book caliber.  What do you guys think?

I talked to a wildlife biologist out of the Yakima area a couple years ago and he told me that cougars kill a lot of mountain goats in the Cascades and that's one of the main things keeping the number of goats down.
