My boy was drawn for antlerless elk, deer and youth deer. My father in law and myself skunked for the 5Th year in a row. All is good through because its all about  spending time in the woods with my boy.

Motivation playing OTC is a lot more valuable than a permit but regarding the drawing -but this sucks, not drawn for a damn thing!.... but I do have another point for next year and the OTC thing has been working out fine lately so what the hell, let's do it.  Another year of busting my ass playing in the OTC league with the scrubs is fine with me, a kill means more to me that way anyway and I love a good challenge - but the "not selected" thing does sting a little when you are submitting for easier tags with 5 points on elk.  Screw it, I am headed for the backcountry on Tuesday to find some new haunts!

The fiance and I put in as a group for antlerless deer and second deer tags, drew both. Everything else was not selected for both of us. Im not complaining though 4 deer between the two of us will be alot of fun and a hell of alot of meat for the freezer.
