Moose aren't always near water like you might think. The cow moose my dad shot was on top of a mountain with very little water nearby.

I don't know how good it is, but I was drawn for the Tucannon early buck hunt. Sept 26-Oct. 3rd.

If the draw holds true, I should have an quality deer tag and a buck deer tag.  With two points, I never thought I would have drawn a late methow tag?  Oh well, not complaining.

I had previously mentioned that a couple weeks ago there was a moose calf in my family's wheat fields in waitsburg.

I guess the other day there was a herd of moose on the walla walla airport and they had to flag all flights until they were able to herd them off the airfield  :dunno:

My Wife drew five special hunts and I drew four. It looks like I will be on the call and Natalie will be hunting the Bull this year, ;) Bethel or Observatorty?. We did draw the same Quality Deer hunts it looks like! Good year to use up the points.

The Wife drew Bethel any Elk Muzz tag! This should be a great opprotunity for her. Also both of us drew Alta quality Deer Muzz.  :)
