The tag fairy was kind to me
« on: June 21, 2010, 08:56:20 AM »
I am going mule deer hunting in the rut this year for the 1st time ever with a rifle. Looks like I'll be the one and only late season tag holder down in the Tucannon unit in the Blues. I'm so damn excited right now I could puke. I also got a 2nd tag for antlerless whitetail in the Peola unit down there. Looks like I better keep doing my excersizes.

Congrats Jackelope, that should be a great hunt.  I have seen a couple of real good bucks down there during the elk season.
I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you.
If I ageed with you, then we'd both be wrong.
You are never to old to learn something stupid.

Thanks for all the kind words. I'm really looking forward to it.
I'll do the tag as much justice as I possibly can!

I've heard it's now a barren wasteland...nothing but a few chipmunks and some good eating mushrooms here and there.
I didn't let that sway me from my application choices.
