That's awesome you got the tag you really wanted! I know what ya mean about the exercising :chuckle: I turned a new fitness leaf at the beginning of the year and am in some of the best shape Ive ever been since I turned 21 nine years ago :chuckle: Late tags are great incentives to keep in shape!

What?  Two pages and no Tucannon deer whisperer on here yet to tell you what you should be holding out for with that tag?  Congrats Josh, I think that hunt might not suck!
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.

I am going mule deer hunting in the rut this year for the 1st time ever with a rifle. Looks like I'll be the one and only late season tag holder down in the Tucannon unit in the Blues. I'm so damn excited right now I could puke. I also got a 2nd tag for antlerless whitetail in the Peola unit down there. Looks like I better keep doing my excersizes.

 :yike:

Congrats man..hunting in the old stomping grounds!  Nice.. I drew a muzzy cow tag in Dayton too.
Wild Turkey, Walleyes, Whitetails and Wapiti..These are a few of my favorite things!!

Thanks for all the kind words, folks.
I'm really lucky to have a tag like this.

Yeah, I think that could be the understatement of the year for the Hunt-WA crowd!  Congrats on the great tag.  We'll get together someday and figure out how and where the studs will be.  I may have to go with you to carry the rifle, though.  We can't be having you pull the trigger on the first little dink 190" buck you see.  ;)
Bring a GPS!  It's awkward to have to eat your buddies!
