Inline Muzzleloader opinions?

Ok guys what in your opinions is the most accurate, mid budget or top end budget muzzleloader out there.  Up until last year I had a Knight Bighorn 50cal which seemed to be a good gun.  I am in the market for a new one this week and am looking for suggestions.  Thanks James

the most popular guns out there from what i have seen is the t/c blackdiamond not made anymore,bighorn which you have, cva elk horn, and white rifles. i have the blackdiamond xr and the elkhorn and the elk horn is a inline bolt action muzzle loader and is my go to gun. they run black on black about 290.00 and black and cam 340.00 you will not be disapointed with this gun it is a great gun check them out wholesale sports is where i have bought mine.

You want the top of the line...  Look at Savage 10ML-II .50 caliber.  Many very good writeup's and it is also modern powder capable as well (which is illegal in Washington today).  It is also capable of 1 inch groups at 100 yards as well.

The Savage is not legal for hunting in this state, no matter which powder you use in it.

look used as there aren't many options in brand new in-lines.

that is right i just talked to there factory today and they said they do not make any conversions to make the gun shoot 11 or musket caps because it got me thinking. so it is not a legal gun here from what i have talked to them from and seen online don't drop 600-800 on one you can;t use here

CVA makes a desent mid range gun as they also make winchester muzzys . I had a winchester X 150 and got rid of it because I thought it was to heavy to pack all day in the hills but it was a sweet shooter. I too would keep an eye out for a used Knight or tompson if your not in a real big hurry.

So if it did use a nipple it would be legal.   I am sure there must be an after market nipple for the rifle.  Either way... Many states allow the 209 primer.

Not many of the western states allow 209 primers
Oregon doesnt even allow fiber optic sights

there is very few states that have the restricitons that we do thepro hunter is not legal here either. and i talked to them and i am sure i posted that i talked to them today and they said they did not make one. there is a few things to make them legal here that gun is not.

It still wouldn't be legal because it wouldn't be "exposed to the elements."
