Man that Sapphire is just tough to get used to.... ;)  Took it out this weekend after shooting it for 3 days... shot in the WSAA Outdoor State Championship.... Not only did I win it (Trad) but I beat my personal best scores in the Field and Hunter rounds,  tied my best in the animal round... Ladies and Gentlemen I think this bow is a shooter.   :P

Sweet congrats!

I see you only have 8 bows listed in your line, but you have 14 or 15... tell us what else you have?

And congrats! I'm glad it is a shooter for you. When I finished that bow I grabbed some random arrows and walked out the door and was absolutely STACKING them together in the target. That bow is just a shooter... period... I mean, every bow I build is a shooter, but THAT bow just made it easier than ever....

Freds ought to be similar! By the way Fred, I broke my toe Friday night and did not spend an F'ing minute in the shop this weekend... I know...excuses, excuses.... :dunno:

Ouch, stop kicking things!  Better heal up soon, elk season ain't so far away!!

P.S.  That last line is meant so you can elk hunt, not because I want my bow any quicker...   :P  Needed to clairify that!!

What about a Silvertip? Robertson? Toelke? Centaur? Black Widow?

You have a Long Ways to go my friend!!!

I"ll keep you posted on the 64"er... Limping around now and will get Freds bow done asap... have a few more to get done, then I can get to finishing up that 64... Its a nice bow too....and I'd like to keep it  But I also need a new camera!!!

I have been eyeing the Centaur double carbon's.... and Toelke whips... along with a few others.  Currently working with Kirk Lavender on a TD Sasquatch....  There are way too many nice bows out there!

You wont be sorry getting ahold of the sasquatch... that is one fantastic bow. Faster than Greased lightning, smooth drawing and easy pointing.... oh...and top notch craftsmanship too!!

I really like Dan's bows as well... and I'll tell ya what, Longbow or Recurve either one, you cannot go wrong with a Schafer Silvertip.....

Ernie... you trying to get me divorced now aren't you....  ;)  I have seen the Silvertips.. and if they shoot as good as they look they are an awesome bow.  Actually trying to sell a couple I don't shoot right now and re-invest into some I want to try.

I think I'm going with a Bezaleel Bobcat as my next purchase. Not sure when. I heard those Silvertips are good but never shot one.
