.50 Cal Hornady FPB's
« on: June 25, 2010, 10:09:34 PM »
Have any of you tried the new Hornady FPB's in 50 cal? Looks like they make them in 300 gr and 350 gr.  I drew a late season muzzy tag and I'm thinking about trying out some different bullets.  They look good to me.  Just wondering how well they perform.

The sst are sabots arent they?  The fpb's are not, thats what I like about them.

Looks like a great bullet. I want to try them too. But probably won't until I run out of all the bullets I currently have (Harvesters, all lead.)

we had problems shooting them out of a few guns, they had a tendency to walk up the target and spread out plus be bore size they are pretty hard to load these were the 350 grain one maybe the 300s are better ? :dunno:
