Had the same problem and switched to Canidae brand. Made in the US ( don't have to worry about Chinese poisonous additives) and  very few fillers. Less allergy problems better coats.

Don't feed your dog for a few days and I bet he'll start liking it more. Or, add some of your leftover "people" food to it every time and mixt it in. Actually I try to feed my dog as little dog food as possible. Too much dog food will eventually kill your dog, IMO. I try to give my dog "real" food as much as I can. If we have enough leftovers from dinner, then she doesn't get any dog food.

Yep...my thoughts exactly. My lab would eat dirt if I put it in his food dish.
Just one more day

I have been feeding him meat and veggie's. I have also heard that i should never feed the dog human food but that seems unrealistic in the long run.

That's bad advice, but I've heard it often. Think about it. Why would "human" food be bad for a dog? Human food is "real" food. Not overprocessed, chemical and addiditive filled crap. Dog food causes cancer in dogs.

ask 50 people how to feed dogs you will get 50 answers  ;)

if this didn't start all of a sudden which could mean an actual illness or impaction or something then try feeding the dog give it about 10 minutes to eat then take away the food and offer it again about 12 hours later.....eventually they will eat.
I feed my dogs once a day because my first dog had food allergies and issues with not eating she actually ate more food and kept weight better going to this method and it was pretty common for her to go a couple days without eating.....for what its worth she ate only dog food I was in my dogs do not get people food phase of life and she lived 16 years ( a breed that 10-12 is common) total vet bills might have been 500 over her lifetime ;)

go to a pet shop and see if they have samples of different feeds and try them out you can look into home made meals for dogs and raw feeding as well I have done all of them over the years....good luck

I mostly give my dog meat and some bones. There's a lot of info on the web if you look for it.

actually garlic is fine you want to avoid onions grapes or raisins and chocolate these all can have toxic effects.

You can feed veggies if you wish but dogs are technically wolves so think what a wolf would eat and feed accordingly ;) look up raw feeding and species specific you will find people feeding whole chickens feathers and all it is far more common than many people realize.

when we raised sheep I raw fed sheep/lamb as a major part of my dogs diets and they all looked great...no it will not turn them into killers I had 6 dogs all were safe with my lambs before feeding raw meat and safe after.....tons of info online
