4th of july project. Camera lockbox.
« on: July 05, 2010, 07:25:10 PM »
I do a pretty good job of hiding my cams but I just realized that one of them was left about 1/4 mile from a main camping area road over 4th of July weekend. It has been soakin' since march.  I figured I better get up there and move it or someone else will do it for me.  Well it was still there but on the way hom i stopped by Home Depot and picked up a few supplys and made a lock box for my last unsecured camera. My other ones are just in a ammo can but it is the same idea. This will slow down the bears and will require people to make an extra trip with some sort of tools. If anyone wants I can take more detailed pics. One tool that you almost certainly have to have is a dremmel tool or plasma torch. Can't wait till next weekend to go throw it back in the woods.

Looks like a pretty heavy duty box. How much did it cost to make it?

I got the boxes for free a few years ago, the rest was 22 dollars.
