Whatcom County Blacktail

Extremely upset that I didn't have a camera with me. Went to check out some very inaccesible State Trust land yesterday evening, about a 1/4 mile before I was heading up the hill I came accross two 3 point bucks in velvet and three does browsing some guys yard. Too bad they were down in a residential area....

That seems to be the norm for them Bellingham bucks.  Always in residential areas.

I'm thinking that all the Mountain Bikers/Hikers on the state land keep them real low, they seem to all be out by Sudden Valley. Hopefully those "hogs" are also up in the isolated parts of the state land that nobody goes on...
