What a waste.. The boy got his post card that says 'Selected' in the mail yesterday. But what unit/hunt?

1bugman,
But that is just the notification, not your actual permits, correct?
The permit should show the unit and season for your hunt.

I was able to buy my 2nd deer. so I don't know. at least I finally got some thing in writing. use to be they just sent the cards with every thing on it. now it just says selected. I doubt they'll send another to say the same thing, and add the units. ......Oh, wait it's the government. Any one else know?

But does it tell you what you were selected for?

It tells me I was selected for antlerless deer, 2nd deer, antlerless elk and Bull elk. but not the unit. it also shows what I wasn't selected for Buck, Quality Deer, etc. I have no idea why they would send this out and then send the "permits" seprate, seams like a wast of money.

Right. But then aren't they just going to send the actual permit?

The permits have not been sent yet. Just selection notifications.
