What a waste.. The boy got his post card that says 'Selected' in the mail yesterday. But what unit/hunt?

1bugman,

But that is just the notification, not your actual permits, correct?

The permit should show the unit and season for your hunt.

But does it tell you what you were selected for?

I got my sympathy card in the mail from the WDFW.
"Shoot the spike".  It's much easier to pack out!

It tells me I was selected for antlerless deer, 2nd deer, antlerless elk and Bull elk. but not the unit. it also shows what I wasn't selected for Buck, Quality Deer, etc. I have no idea why they would send this out and then send the "permits" seprate, seams like a wast of money.

Right. But then aren't they just going to send the actual permit?
