fair enough, I still feel better that I got something in the mail and they let me buy my 2nd deer.

But still, you're 2nd deer tag is not valid without having the permit on your person.  :dunno:

The notification via mail say's to check online and you can see what you will be drawn for.  I imagine they will follow up shortly with the actual permit.

Yup aftergetting the bill for the moose tag - Matthew and I got our conformation of the drawing today.  So when you draw the second deer permit do theysend the second deer tag?  Or do we have to cut our tag in half and use on half on the bucks we will killand half on the does we will kill.  Does any one know how that works?

Wait I will have to fork out more $$$ to buy second tags for a stiking doe. ____  thougth they wanted us to reduce the deer herd in selected areas.....

Now you're starting to see the beauty of the system.  You get to pay to apply for a bunch of years.  Then you magically get selected one year, and then you get to pay an extra $26 for the second tag at the vendor.  Don't forget to carry the permit and the second tag with you when hunting for at least the second deer; never drawn moose, so I don't know about that.

Yep..once you get drawn for the 2nd deer tag you have to buy another tag. You use the second deer tag first then, your general season tag.
Good luck!

Just got this email
Aron,
Thank you for contacting the Washington department of Fish and Wildlife,

You should receive your second post card that is your permit in the mail in a few days.

If you have any further questions feel free to ask.
Thank you,

Don't know what "A few days" means
