sounds like it's time to buy a new gun....

It sounds like it's time to get a new gun.

I use Federal Crimped .22 Bird shot it works fine in my auto Ruger and my conversion kit for my CZ75. The ones that have  the plastic cap will not work in my guns.  :twocents:

Ask any little old lady in the south. They'll tell ya the best snake killer is a garden hoe. My Granny was snake killing machine with that garden hoe! If I were you I would go buy a Ruger Single Six. I have killed a lot of Rattlers in my younger days with the CCI shotshells. They just curled up and died, very little thrashing around.

While i'd love to have one with the birds head grip the funds are just not there nor another gun purchase right now.

Why not a decoy retrieving pole? They have the same style hook that people use to pick up snakes and put them in sacks.

I don't have one of those either... and i'd rather not have one in my sack (did i really just type that?  :chuckle: )

If i get the chance this weekend i'm gonna hit a few local pawn shops and see if i can find anything there. WOrst case i just use the one i've got and hope i dont need to go rapid fire  :yike: .

I will be driving through Monroe on saturday.  We might be able to work something out.  We will be going to my In-Laws in Gold Bar,and coming home sunday afternoon.  I will pm you my cell# if you would like.
There's a reason they call it hunting, not killing.

Driving thru Monroe is easier said than done. The traffic sucks unless u go thru early!!
