Just bought a Tikka T3 chambered in 270 winchester from a coworker today. He bought it new a few years ago put 30 rounds down the tube went on a hunting trip and let it sit in the closet with no interest in hunting again.Has a Leupold vx-1 4-12 40mm on Talley rings and came with a case, sling and 50 rounds of factory ammo.Paid $550 I'm happy with deal.

Yep awesome guns, you got a great deal too. I love mine, you would be hard pressed to find something more accurate for the price.

You scored on a very nice rifle setup. My nephew has a blued version in .270 with a Trijicon scope and it is sweet! I have a blued version in .30-06 and it is very accurate and light to hike with.
Good luck and let us know how it shoots!

I had a Tikka and traded it off to my kid then I upgraded to a Sako A7. Both are great shooters but I don't think that the Sako shoots any better groups than the Tikka. You're going to love how that Tikka shoots and it is a pleasure to pack a rifle that does'nt weigh a ton. I'd say you did get a good deal.

That is a smoking deal!!! I have one in a 7mm Rem Mag and love it. Its a very accurate, lightweight rifle and the action is smooth as glass!

Let us know what you think after you shot it. I'm going this weekend to look at/buy a new rifle. Going to look at the tikkas, heard good thing s about them.

Yeah. I don't have one but my wife does. She has the blued version in a .308 caliber topped with a burris fullfield II. The action is one of the smothest I have felt on any gun. Also it is deadly accurate.
