with the weather that we have had and feed out there we could see some dandys pop up this year on the books

Horn growth should be good. Carsniper I hunted east of you about 5 miles. Did you noticed that the deer didn't migrate down until after the general rifle. It was some rough hunting. Nothing like the prior year. Hoping for colder weather this year to push them down.

i sure the hell did was a ruff year for sure. dam cats and other preditors have been eating the hell out of them and they were slim during rifle season but i hunt muzzle so they are always there :IBCOOL: but numbers are way way down. i have a multi tag this year so we will see what happens :IBCOOL:

Carpsniper it's an area that would waist our time scouting due to them spending summers in the mountains. Might find a bear tho. Hopeing by mid October they are down.

Are we talking state records or recognized book animals?

I don't see either of our state muley (T/NT) being broken anytime soon.  Probably same for elk.

A friend of mine who is also a member of this site has a typical muley that was recognized at the B&C awards this year.

I think the Methow could produce some nice mulies this year, the amount of feed is unbelivable compared to past years.

I believe it was 187 gross and 180-2/8 net.  That is the only typical entry for WA for 2007-2009.  Only one NT entry also and that one was 216 3/8.  Get those heads officially scored!

Oregon had a 195 7/8 typical muley entered!  :o

I agree with that.  It has been an amazing year for vegetation growth!  I think we will see some great heads on the ground this year.  Just hope that I am one of the lucky ones!  :)

I feel that the whitetail record could be broken in the NE or parts of Sherman.  As for the muleys, the only area I could see a record being broken in the southern Ferry Country (non-rez) country.  And for the elk, if that Hanford Bull crosses a fence, it might have a chance.............
