Duracoat Pictures
« on: July 15, 2010, 04:52:03 PM »
I got two of my rifles back from my Duracoat guy this week. The Armalite was done in a "Urban" pattern White/Gray/Black. The DSA was done in a "Tiger-stripe" pattern Tactical Green/Grey/Black. In my opinion I think the rifles turned out Awesome! I also understand beauty is in the eye of the beholder on stuff like this but I was bored today and thought I would share some pictures with you guys.

I unfortunetly do not have pictures of the last one I did but I will see if I can get some..  Those all look really good.  I really like the duracoat product I am still waiting to see how it holds up.  I am going to do the kwik clip conversion on my new rifle and that will be the test.

klickitat that looks really good what color is that?

That is Magpul green. That particular gun with that finish has about 10 thousand draws in and out of a Kydex holster. I was shooting competition with it this last winter and practiced 30-40 minutes a day drawing and fixing sights on bowling pins. Anyhow as you can see there is only minimal wear on the corners. I am very impressed with Duracoat and it's toughness.

It sounds like it's time to get a new gun.
