Does anyone have any experience with them good or bad. I'm thinkin about getting one for my son-in-law. Any input would be appreciated.

I have herd nothing bad or great about them, but if they are like their rifles I'm sure they are good to go? :dunno:

I own a Weatherby SA08 semi-auto shotgun. Yes, it's made in Turkey in the same factory that makes Tristar. It is made according to Weatherby's specs.

It is a very nice shotgun. It's fairly light, well balanced, and yet soft kicking. Biggest feature for me is that it's very easy to clean. I like the dual valve. It's not an expensive Beretta or a Browning but it's well made. It took a beating last year during ducks & geese season. I used it in April to get my 22 lb Turkey! I think it is the best value in a semi-auto on the market today. It gets rave reviews in all the hunting magazines.

My only issue is that there isn't an 3rd party aftermarket for barrels, stocks, etc.
