i believe the book says something about a one in. protrusion above the ear

Ya, the junk may get to be longer than an inch, but from the pic angles available, the junk appears to be below the ears to me??? I think he is a leagle, true spike?? I think I'd shoot'em with further review.

i am not one to gripe about another man's typing prowess, but i can tell you as well as anyone who has spent any time in the blues, there are no elk in the blues  ask Pathfinder 101, he will tell you

Jim's right. It couldn't possibly be the Blues. There's no elk or mule deer there so its got to be a typo.
