Here is a nice 5x5 a ex co-worker of mine killed this past year on his special permit. It was covered with pitch so thick you couldnt see hair on the top side of his head and neck. Sure smelt good, like a freshly cut Christmas tree  :chuckle: I used that head down sneak to show off his tops since they were pretty nice. I think the form worked well for this bull. Anyway, enjoy the pics.

Thanks, that is what the customer wanted to see in his mount so that is what I did for him. I will do pretty much what the customers wants within reason and anatomical correctness. Some people dont want any definition in there mounts , other want a bunch. Referance is key when mouting these short haired critters.

the tops that look like tuning forks... I watched a small raghorn this spring with those..  Spindly all the way to the top but then the forks on top were turned sideways... hope he grows to be as nice as this one.  Nice job on the mount!

Your mounts are amazing! I love the way the animals actually seem alive. My brother has several B&C and P&Y mule deer mounts and honestly, they don't look as good as yours, Charlie.
