Spike down
« on: October 29, 2013, 06:21:07 PM »
Me and the old man were at it since Saturday morning had seen elk everyday and he finally connected on this guy. I was calling for him and a 6 pt and this true spike came him and he gave him a dirt nap at 25 yards jumped off the logging road down the edge and flopped over down the ridge bout hundred yards till his spikes caught on a tree.. My dad's  a disabled hunter and can hardly walk. Get out there guys and take ur dads while there still here make memories

If we were supposed to be vegetarian God would have made broccoli more fun to shoot!

Hey Tonasketstickflinger, Small world, I was up just this morning scouting around for my 9yr old daughter and ran into your dad on his 4wh. He told me the story about his elk, did he see that bear again this morning? Hopefully he ends up with him as well.

Nope not me, I just ran into him and got to chattin with him. He was awfully excited this morning about killing that spike and he told me the exact same story you posted so had to be the same. Good to see a disabled vet out making it happen!! He also was excited about the new tank chair. Hope he gets that bear, he's a good one!
