Well my scouting trip for this weekend is postponed. Had a Uncle pass away and the funeral is this weekend. Guess it is lookin gkije end of the nonth now..

So after my scope rings broke I had to start from scratch. I have some questions. The guy who put on my rings said to start shooting at 25 yards. It will be easier and it will be the same at 100 yards. well I did just that and  my first two shots were low. fixed it and ended up pretty good. jumped to 100 and my first shot was high and to the left. fixed it  but why such a difference? Was I told wrong? First picture is at 25 . Second is at 100

25 is just to get it on the paper after you bore site it.  If you are close move on out to 100 or 150 to get your zero.

Congrats on the draw.  It looks like you are putting in the homework.  Can't wait to follow along with you on this hunt.

scouting trip did not go as well as hoped.  Idid not find Mr. Big but I will. Was supposed to meet up with someone but my traveling companion had other plans. Almost got in a fist acuffs over that ordeal. Not relying on him anymore. headed back very soon.
