I was referring to them being ocean caught fish.  The scales are coming off, and even the sealiced fish in the Skok have scales that have started to become reabsorbed.

It does seem a stretch to fish the Skok long enough to catch that many, than hit the Cowlitz later. We have property on the Cow and from what I know the nearest boat launch to the lower Skok would be nearly 3 hrs with a trailer by the time you were back in the water and fishing again. I suppose it's possible, but if the fishing were that good.... I wouldn't leave, but that's just me.

it's around an hour and a half from the skokomish to blue creek on the cowlitz.

on one particularly slow october day around 5 years ago, me and my dad started off fishing the skokomish, then moved to the satsop, then the wynoochee, and finally the humptulips.  never did catch anything that day.
you can still get gas in heaven, and a drink in kingdom come,
in the meantime, i'll be cleaning my gun

7 kings = 7 people on the skok.  Kind of a lot to be squeezing on one sled isnt it?
Hunting and Fishing are not matters of life or death... THEY ARE WAY MORE IMPORTANT!!!

Not true about the 7 kings, 7 people. This year it is 2 clipped fish.
