Interesting...
Ive seen a lot of videos of guys cutting apart bucks that were locked together. First time ive seen one shot though..
Kinda Sad to watch, hope they got them apart and the other buck was ok.

Would have been great to take them both one for the shooter one for the camera man and have them both mounted locked together still.

What about fair chase? I thought it was illegal to shoot and animal that was incapacitated deep snow thing's like that would this not fall under that category because either buck could get away? Sorry that's not hunting.

i have seen that as well. on the other place i saw it. they said that the other buck was sawed free after the one was dead. but they said they wanted to shoot one because they could not Handel 2 of them thrashing around

It may not have been sporting but its a lot more humane than having them starve to death or have predators come upon them. As far as cutting off the antlers how do you do that with them thrashing arround?
