Lake Bridges, Boyle and Klaus - any way up to them?
« on: August 17, 2010, 09:27:44 AM »
I have been looking at these lakes and wondered how to get to them. Has anybody been to one or all of them? If so could you tell me what trail or how you got there. Is there any fish in them? I am just picking up fly fishing and think these lakes would be filled with brookie.

damn, I haven't those lakes names in a years. I am not sure if you still can but you used to be able to drive in behind mount si to where you come to gates on the left and right. park there and go thru the west(left) gate. take a map and you can walk to the first on in pretty short order. next 2 are quite aways away but could be made on a mt bike. watch out for log trucks as if I remember right the speed limit on the mainline is 60mph. used to fish all these lakes years ago but has been so long I cant even remember their names in order. I never fished for trout but the farthest north lake (boyle?) has some dandy largemouth.
