Fishing with buckhorn2
« on: August 15, 2010, 02:28:24 PM »
Well the wife and I spent Saturday and part of today at buckhorn2s place in Grayland.I gotta say we had a blast.Kathy fed us like kings, and we felt quite at home there. After breakfast Saturday, myself and Del and his great friend Bob the fishslayer loaded up Buckhorns2s alumaweld and hit the salt..Fishing sucked it took us an hour to catch or limits of nice ling.Isn't that a bummer. We had fish on fish off,non stop action it was great....Sorry didn't get any pics..While we were fishing our spousal units were ridding the countryside of unwanted items at various garage sales..went back to buckhorn2s place cleaned fish, and Kathy Buckhorn2s wife, made Sammie's,crab salad, fudge, two cakes, after wading through an awesome lunch,we went to see all the trophies Del and his sons have taken,WOW,it was like walking into a porn store, wall to wall antlers, and dragsters what a place..As the 98 degree weather cooled myself and Del got the quads and hit the woods,we seen deer and elk what a great ride..Then back to Del's for spaghetti, crab and cake.
we stopped and seen hunterman and his family at the campgrounds,Tony was cleaning a pile of fish, good to see them there..what a blast thanks Del and Kathy..PS all wives should take notes from Kathy on how to spoil a man and guests shes awesome...

We had a great time with you guys look forward to doing it again. Today we had fog all day and really cool. Tony and Erin no how to fish we watched Erin breaking in her birthday pole and watched tony flay fish he knows his stuff. Said he was going to work with Beckey a little on how not to start a fire but eye brows will grow back. Joe that picture hits pretty close to home.

Did you ever think that if you caught less fish there would be less to clean. I will have to wait at least 2 weeks for the hole to fill back up after all the fish you and Erin pulled in.
