is there a certain way to skin the hides of a yote for tanning for cash? after that where would i take em too for side cash?

Skinning a Coyotes is not that easy. To get money you need to skin out the whole head ears included. I know on the East side you could take them to Mosco hide and fur in Mosco ID. They will also take them as a full dog you don't get as much but, you don't have to spend your time skinning and if you don't skin it to their standards it makes it almost worth nothing. The other nice thing about taking in the whole dog is they use everything and I mean everything so nothing goes to waste. I'm not big on saving the hides due to the fact my .270 wsm makes big holes. www.hideandfur.com is the web site for them (not trying to step on any sponsors toes) If there is a sponsor on here that wants hides let us know that would be great.

I just got an e-mail from NAHC that had a cool tutorial on how to do it with the aid of an air compressor, was really cool and made it look much easier

Some coyotes I've put up and had tanned for myself. some are a little rinkled they just came out of the shipping box and haven't been combed out.

I have heard there are some really good skinners out on the Rez. Try to call the Yakima tribe to see who does their skinning for their head gear they dance around with they might be willing to show a white man how to do it...........they will problably try to charge you for their sacred art of skinning just like they sell their sacred salmon.
